A Quezon City hub of a courier and money remittance company has been ordered closed by the local government after reporting a COVID-19 outbreak among its employees.

City officials on Wednesday temporarily shut down LBC Express Hub in Barangay Tandang Sora to give way to disinfection and sanitation of the establishment’s premises.

This came after 27 of its employees tested positive for the virus.

The local government said the establishment may only be able to continue its operations once it passes the evaluation after three days of disinfection.

The local government also called on those who visited the hub and the close contacts of positive patients to monitor themselves for possible symptoms and to coordinate with them.
